Our Family and Reserve
Julian and Divina were both born and raised in Guaranal, where they fell in love and have been married for over 35 years. They come from a long line of cultivators and farmers that instilled in them their love for the land and of servicing the local community. They have two (2) daughters, Awilda and Wildivina, who share their love of nature and the outdoors.
During their life journey, their love led them to the United States where they lived for over 10 years before returning to their native land to pursue their love of farming.
Together they founded Hacienda La Dignidad, a 1000 acre farm dedicated to the cultivation and growth of organic cocoa, avocados, plantains/bananas, citrus, mangoes, and other produce local to the region.
They welcome you to share their home and reserve and experience a true adventure in the mountains and heart of Dominican Republic.
Certified Organic Cacao
Our family has have been growing organic cacao in the mountains of Guaranal in the Dominican Republic since the 1960’s. We are dedicated to growing high quality organic cacao while helping improve our community. We put the same dedication to all our produce from the cacao to the plantains, oranges, avocados etc. We are constantly improving our process while preserving natures way of growing this magical bean.
